1. Le Capian (Hôtel Intercontinental)

Located on the terrace of the Hôtel Intercontinental, the bar of Le Capian offers an incredible view of the Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica and the Vieux-Port of Marseille. Perfect for a coffee (or mojito!) break.

2. Bar Skylounge Dantès (Sofitel - Five Stars)

Meet up on the rooftop of the Sofitel to catch a glimpse of one of the most beautiful terraces in the city! Its champagne and cocktail bar has a panoramic view of the MuCEM and the old port. Complete with a chic and intimate ambiance.

3. La Caravelle

Head up to the second floor of the Hôtel Bellevue (which, fittingly, translates to "Beautiful View") - you won't be disappointed! Its terrace has an amazing panoramic view of the old port.

4. Le LM 14

Le Rowing Club - an aptly-named rowing club - is home to its own restaurant as well as a terrace facing out over the Fort Saint Nicolas and the MuCEM. Admire the view with a glass in your hand and a few plates of tapas. You can even arrive by sea thanks to the location's own dock!

5. Le Café du Fort Saint-Jean

Located inside the famous MuCEM, the Café du Fort Saint-Jean is an ideal spot to grab coffee after visiting the museum's exhibits - you can also get a bite to eat. The view of the Vieux Port is undeniably magical. For lunch, head to the roof-terrace of the J4 ("La Table" chic bistro and "La Cuisine" brasserie). The view of the Mediterranean Sea is splendid.

6. Le Café des Méditerranées

Directly in front of the MuCEM and the Fort Saint-Jean, come for a morning lemonade at the Café des Méditerranées (from 9:30 to 12:00 noon). You can stay to eat - the menu is certainly tempting, with plates based around fresh, local, and organic products.
