A stone's throw from Place Centrale, discover a unique cultural site, The Giant's Runway, between memory and innovation within the Toulouse Aerospace. A journey, between past, present and the future, of permanent discovery and thematic gardens transport the public into the fabulous epic of the pioneers of Aeropostale.The The Giant's Runway is divided into three spaces:

The Hall of the Machine
A large contemporary hall designed by the architect Patrick Arotcharen, this vast space is dedicated to street arts, combining invention and technology. The Hall will house around 150 mechanical machines that will offer an ever-changing show.

The Flight of the Pioneers
This space dedicated to the memory of the pioneers of the Latécoère and Aéropostale lines as well as the Montaudran district - the cradle of aeronautics in Toulouse - will host a permanent exhibition between immersion in the pioneers' adventure and discovery of the site's history.

The Gardens of the Line
Located along the former emblematic Aéropostale runway, this 3 hectare landscaped area showcases the atmosphere of the 3 continents crossed by the Aéropostale line.

New contemporary art centre opens in Montpellier : the MoCo

On June 29th, 2019, in the Hôtel Montcalm (3500 m2 from Saint Roch station), a new contemporary art venue will open joining the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts and La Panacée within MOCO, the contemporary art center from Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole. The Moco is an institution with 3 locations, an artistic ecosystem, which goes from training to collection. Cosmopolitan and in tune with the times, the MOCO offers all audiences the opportunity to fully participate in the art of our time. MOCO has been designed as a real living space where the entire population, all generations combined, will enjoy meeting up beyond the exhibition program.

Bertrand Lavier, to whom the park's space has been entrusted for the creation of a permanent work, has worked on a garden in the shape of a world map, composed of plant species from all over the world, chosen in consultation with the gardener, landscape gardener, botanist and biologist Gilles Clément. For its opening, the MoCo at Hotel Montcalm will offer an inaugural exhibition of the masterpieces from the Ishikawa - Tokyo collection.
