Occitanie Sud de France, a hiker’s paradise!

In the Pyrenees, along the Camino de Santiago from one Cathar castle to another or in the Cevennes accompanied by a donkey in the footsteps of Stevenson, not a single area of our region escapes the traces of hiking trails. A dense mesh that can make every hiker happy.

The region is crisscrossed by an extensive network of 40,000 km of marked trails. There's always one or more close to you! Depending on the duration and level desired, from family walks to trekking in the mountains, the choices are boundless.

The storied paths

On the Robert Louis Stevenson Trail in the Cévennes, the GR®10 from one end of the Pyrenees to the other, or the Cathar Trail from Aude to Ariège, set off on the most beautiful hiking trails in the South of France. Emblematic of Occitanie Sud de France, they intertwine, right under your steps the beauty of nature and the power of history.
