Nestled in the heart of Arles, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the LUMA Arles project is defined as a vast cultural campus dedicated to contemporary creation.
This site, unique in France, is considered as a production equipment which aims to promote the emergence of new art forms. The Luma Foundation produces, supports and finances bold artistic projects that aim to deepen understanding of environmental, human rights, educational and cultural issues.
One of the key elements of the project is undoubtedly the 56-metre high diamond-shaped tower designed by the famous American-Canadian architect, to whom we owe the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao or the Vuitton Foundation in Paris. This tower, which is already sparkling under the sun of Provence, will open its doors in the summer of 2020.
