Pretty resort, with its fine sandy beaches in the heart of the city, large villas, bars and restaurants on the waterfront, Larmor-Plage is surrounded by a pleasant walkway. It is well known to surfers with the Centre Nautique de Kerguelen, the top French sailing school.
The citadel of Port Louis
Stone sentinel watching over the waters of the harbour entrance, the Citadel of Port Louis, with the of the India Company Museum and the naval museum, is one of the most visited sites in Brittany.
The Eric Tabarly sailing centre
On the siteof the former submarine base, the Lorient authority has created a space dedicated to the memory of those lost at sea and offshore racing. It houses 2,000 square metres of permanent exhibition, a resource centre and an entertainment area. This is the home port of the Pen Duick of Eric Tabarly, which can be admired at her moorings.
The artistic crafts yard in Pont-Scorff
In the village of Pont-Scorff, the artistic craft yard invites you to a friendly atmosphere and the discovery of arts using fire. The space shows the productions of some sixty contemporary artistic craftsmen. Objects of glass, earth, wood, many tree species, resin, metal, slate, etc.
The zoo of Pont Scorff

The Fort du Loch
This military construction built from 1756 is a reference point on the coast, between Guidel and Ploemeur. It is an ideal stopping point for hikers exploring the nature reserve of the Loch or sunbathers wanting to discover a historic building.
The Studs of Hennebont
Located on the banks of the Blavet, at the heart of a beautiful park of 23 hectares,the National Stud is a prestigious place wrought by time. The museum part enables you to discover the history of relations between man and horses, the activity of the stud and its trades. Carriage rides are offered to visit the park and discover the sensation of horse-drawn carriages.
The green route
To the west of Lorient, along the ocean, a beautiful green route is to be found within a protected natural site, between Guidel-Plages and Kerroc'h (Ploemeur). Very busy in the summer and on weekends, this pedestrian-bicycle route, overlooking the sea on the side of the beach, offers superb views, with the Ile de Groix in the background. Golfers will enjoy a 18-hole course along the cliff.
