Major construction work on Line B of the RER Roissy-en-France fr

Major modernization work on line B of the RER (the train service that connects Paris to its surrounding suburbs) will necessitate an interruption of train service between La Plaine Stade de France and Aéroport Charles-de-Gaulle / Mitry-Claye from the evening of August 14th through August 18th, 2013. There will be no train service on the Northern end of the line during that period, but alternate bus routes will be available. You should expect a minimum travel time of one and a half hours (1:30) between Paris and Charles de Gaulle airport.

RER B - From La Plaine - Stade de France to Aéroport Charles-de-Gaulle TGV 2 and from La Plaine - Stade de France to Mitry-Claye

  • From 10th June to 12th July 2013 (except 21th June),
  • From Monday to Friday starting from 23:15,
  • From 15th July to 30th August 2013 (except 14th August to 16th August),
  • from Monday to Friday starting from 22:15,

A replacement bus service will be provided to these stations. This operation will permit the installation of a new signalling system.

RER B - From Paris - Gare du Nord to Aéroport Charles-de-Gaulle TGV 2 and from Paris -Gare du Nord to Mitry-Claye

  • On 14 August, no trains will operate after 11:00 p.m.

A replacement bus service will be provided to these stations.This operation will permit large-scale testing of the signalling system, which is essential for implementing a new operating system designed to handle the traffic density on Line B.

NOTE: PLEASE ALLOW FOR AT LEAST ONE AND A HALF HOURS OF TRAVEL TIME TO REACH ROISSY CHARLES DE GAULLE USING THE REPLACEMENT BUS SERVICE.

  • From 15 to 17 August, no trains will operate after 4:00 p.m.

RER B - From Aulnay-sous-Bois to Aéroport Charles-de-Gaulle TGV 2

  • On 17 August after 4:00 p.m., and all day on 18 August,

No trains will operate. A replacement bus service will be provided to these stations. This operation will permit large-scale testing of the signal system, which is essential for implementing a new operating system designed to handle the traffic density on Line B.
