Famtrip: from Vancouver to Paris & Montpellier!
As part of the direct Vancouver – Paris Air France flight promotion, 6 agents from British Columbia (Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Ellison Travel and Tours, Forbes Travel, Malaspina Travel, North South Travel, Travel Masters) had the privilege of discovering the French capital as well as Montpellier and its surroundings during a famtrip from May 26th to the 31st, organized by Atout France, in collaboration with Air France, the Tourist Office of Montpellier and the Sud de France region (Languedoc-Roussillon).
This was the opportunity for these agents to discover the many attractions offered by the destination (Galeries Lafayettes, the Champs-Elysées, the île de la Cité…) but also to introduce them to new products, such as the 5* hotels (which opened in 2014): the Cinq Codet and the Peninsula Paris as well as the Lido’s newest review “Paris Merveilles” during a dinner and show, and the discovery of the Picasso Museum, following its recent reopening.
The last three days were spent discovering Montpellier and its region: the newly renovated Grand Hôtel du Midi 4* hotel, the visit of incredible not to miss sites (the Maguelone abbey, St Guilhem-le-Désert, the Pont du Diable, the Pont du Gare as well as Uzès), to get to know the land and its history better.
The Montpellier Tourist office made sure to show the best of what the city and its surroundings had to offer through sunny adventures and culinary surprises.
