Arles: luxury hotel Jules-César reimagined by Christian Lacroix 9 Boulevard des Lices 13200 Arles fr

Couture designer Christian Lacroix made an offer to Michel Albagnac, the owner of Provence's luxury Hôtel Jules-César: to reimagine and revamp the establishment's decor.

Interior design is no mystery to the creator turned costume-designer, who was likely inspired by the already-majestic ambiance of the hotel.

Lacroix's plan included refurbishing the carpeting, lighting fixtures and other details, while not straying too far from the hotel's emblematic origins. Between fabrics, furniture, paintings, and even the staff's uniforms, no small detail will be forgotten!

The project will take two years to complete, according to Lacroix.

The objective of the plan is to modernize the hotel while still conserving it's Provençale identity.
