After a day full of fun on the slopes, the party doesn’t end. In fact, it’s just beginning. French mountain resorts are full of nightclubs, bars, concerts, and festivals of all kinds. They are the perfect party destination.

A few resorts are famous the world over for their renowned nightlife, particularly Courchevel, Megève, and Val d'Isère. But don’t forget about Tignes, Val Thorens, and La Plagne, which are also great places to party the night away. Crowds fill the dancefloor nightly, as world famous DJs such as David Guetta make frequent appearances, to get the crowd moving.

Enjoy all your favorite music from rock, to tropical, lounge, and of course electronic.

But nightclubs and bars aren’t your only option. If you prefer big concerts and festivals, they’ve got you covered.

There are jazz festivals at Villard-de-Lans, Besse-Super-Besse, and Flaine (which also hosts a 1980’s festival). There’s also a reggae festival at Chamonix, the Festival des Concerts Sauvages at Morzine and Avoriaz, the St. Patrick’s Day Party at Montgenèvre, the Festival des Pistes Electoniques at Isola 2000, Sheryfa Luna concerts at Orres, and Christophe Maé at Châtel. The list goes on and on.

And if you can’t wait til dark for the party to start, check out La Folie Douce at Val d'Isère, or Val Thorens and Pano Bar at Deux-Alpes, for an open air dancefloor that kicks off the party at 1:30 in the afternoon. The mix of skiing, dancing, concerts, DJs, and fun, make these resorts the hot spot for winter festivities. Make your plans now; just don’t forget your skis, or dancing shoes!
