Our Quiche Lorraine Recipe

 

  • Line a pie dish with
    a
    puff pastry crust
  • (To prevent the crust
    from rising while baking,
    prick it all over with a fork)
  • Sprinkle lardons over
    the pie crust
  • Whisk 3 or 4 eggs, add some cream, salt and pepper
    then pour
    the mixture over the lardons
  • Sprinkle a little bit of grated gruyere or even better,
    grated comté (do not use too much salt because the lardons and the gruyere are
    already salty)
  • Bake for approximately 30 minutes at 200/220 °C (400°
    F)
