What is it?

Established in 2007, the "Maître Restaurateur" label is a true recognition for traditional restaurants, promoting expertise and best practices. It is a real label of quality, the only one which is issued by the French government.

Its main goals are:

  • To recognize the best professionals in traditional catering,
  • To highlight their skills and their engagement to quality.

The "Maître Restaurateur" label therefore guarantees high-quality cuisine, made with pure ingredients and well executed by a team of culinary professionals.

Evaluation is based on the following:

  • Food products
  • Customer service
  • Interior facilities
  • Environment and external facilities (if applicable)
  • Hygiene, safety and cleanliness

Dishes offered must be diverse: at least 4 starters, 4 main dishes and 4 desserts. In addition, at least one starter, main dish or dessert has to be offered daily.

What does this mean for you?
