Glamping, a glamourous camping lifestyle fr

“Glamping” is a form of camping involving accommodations and facilities more luxurious than those associated with traditional camping.

The word Glamping is actually a blend of “glamourous” and “camping”, likely to satisfy any city slicker seeking a little refuge in nature — without foregoing any of life’s luxuries.

This kind of camping also requires that people respect the natural sites they visit, including the flora and fauna. As an added bonus, housing, breakfast and dinner are available and offered by the owner of the property.

The “Glamper” has the opportunity to stay in:

  • A yurt, a sort of a wood tent that can be easily assembled and dissembled and carried from place to place. Yurts are the preferred housing of Mongolian nomadic tribes that never have permanent residences.
  • An old-fashioned wooden trailer
  • A tent dating from the Middle Ages to explore the medieval era.
  • A genuine teepee for a Wild West experience.
