Art deco delights with Champagne nights
Travelers to Reims are not disappointed with the many opportunities for tasting its delightful bubbly. Champagne houses offer tours of underground tunnels, some of which date back to Roman times. But something striking and less known about the city is its spectacular art deco architecture with its intricate iron work, canted walls, semi-circular openings, and plant motifs. Of note is the Cours Langlet (situated in the North tower of the cathedral), but also the Carnegie Library, Saint-Nicaise Church, and the Villa Douce.
