Vignobles & Découvertes: Dijon - Côte de Nuits
The Vignobles & Découvertes label aims to provide quality services and visits catering to wine tourism. The label appeals to a customer base that appreciates the world of wine without necessarily being connoisseurs, and offers a range of quality services: accommodation, cultural sites, leisure activities, cellar tours, restaurants, exploration of natural spaces, events and more.
Five destinations in Burgundy have been awarded the label: Colline de Corton, Colline de Montrachet, Vignoble de Chablis, Vignoble de l'Auxerrois and Dijon - Côte de Nuits.
Destination: Dijon - Côte de Nuits
The “Dijon - Côte de Nuits” destination covers the city of Dijon and the Côte de Nuits and Hautes Côtes de Nuits areas, including the villages of Marsannay-la-Côte, Gevrey-Chambertin and Nuits-Saint-Georges. A city known as the gateway to the Côte de Nuits vineyards, Dijon is situated in the heart of Burgundy wine tourism.
This destination combines the appeal of Dijon, which boasts a rich architectural heritage, with the reputation of an internationally renowned wine-producing
region.
“Dijon - Côte de Nuits” offers a selection of 14 partner cellars open to tourists located in evocatively named villages, around 30 accommodation options, along with a choice of 30 or so restaurants serving traditional cuisine with set menus suggesting wine pairings.
The tourist offices of Dijon, Marsannay-la-Côte, Gevrey-Chambertin Canton and Pays de Nuits-Saint-Georges welcome all visitors along with several partner tourist centres that will be able suggest turnkey solutions.
They will have everything you need to travel around the sites linked with the world of wine that delight wine lovers the come from all over, including the Château du Clos de Vougeot or the Château d’Entre-Deux-Monts. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a number of activities associated with wine that are delivered in several languages, as well as events that highlight the region and its local traditions.
