With a traditional Alpine ambiance and slopes between 1,550 and 2,100 meters above sea level, Tignes is a ski station with something for everyone.

Villages in Tignes

The Tignes ski station includes five villages: Val Claret, Tignes le Lac, Le Lavachet, Tignes les Boisses, and Tignes-les-Brévières. The first three each reach heights of 2,100 meters. Les Boisses and Les Brévières, on the other hand, are located lower in the valley. Les Brévières is an older villages, while the others were all constructed more recently as part of a project to fully develp the ski station.

Skiing is open in Tignes from October to May. Starting November 30, it's time to go a bit faster - with the opening of the link between the Espace Killy Tignes - Val d'Isère.

For Snow Fans

Visiters will love Tignes's 300 km of winding ski runs, 79 ski lifts (4 of which include cable cars), 18 chair lifts, 25 ski tows, a snowpark, a bordercross, and the Gliss'Park (a snowpark for beginners). The Naturides and freeride area is perfect for those who love beautiful powdery snow!

Feel like trying out different activities? You're sure to be tempted by ice diving, snowmobiling, ice driving, freestyle, winter mountaineering, and heliski, as well as other sports available at the station.
