Unique accomodations: a water tower turned vacation rental Lagraulet-du-Gers, fr

Located in the heart of the village of Lagraulet-du-Gers is a contemporary vacation rental that was once a water tower, a transformation orchestrated by the town's mayor. Visitors staying in this unusual  building will benefit from a unique travel experience in a beautiful, quaint setting.

The influence of the structure's former purpose is particularly noticeable in its round shape, which can be seen in each of the rooms of the tower.

The living space consists of a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and a terrace on the roof with stunning views of the village.  As far as its decoration, polished concrete and raw wood create a striking and original style.

An environmental conscience

The reinvention of the tower was facilitated by preserving the town's environment and heritage. With this in mind, the walls of the building are insulated with hemp and soil, which are as effective as they are sustainable, and the bathroom is made entirely of wood (to recognize the original material of the tower, symbolic of the modern era.)

Both in the chateau's interior and exterior, this idea of mixing the old and the new is very present, combining new heritage with what already exists.

Get closer to the stars

From the tower's roof, the stars appear to be so close you could reach out and touch them. They can be observed more closely with a telescope available to renters.
