A unique location in Vaucluse in Provence

The Domaine de Bélézy, 25 hectares around a 17th century farmhouse, offers campsite pitches, and rentals of lodges, furnished tents, bungalows and mobile homes, suitable for couples, families with infants, children or teenagers.

You can relax and enjoy the 3 swimming pools (one heated and with a sauna), the balneotherapy centre, with osteopathy and acupuncture services and relaxation workshops at certain times.

Botanical walking tours with a guide from the National Forests Office are also on offer.

Strategically well located

Bélézy is situated 20 km as the crow files to the north east of Carpentras (famous for its “berlingot” sweets and its truffle market) in Bédoin, from where you can access Mont Ventoux (nicknamed the “Giant of Provence” or “The Bald Mountain”), the highest point of the  Vaucluse mountains. You can reach the summit crowned with its observatory tower by route D974 from Malaucène (Mont Serein route) or from Bédoin (observatory route).

This natural area, with the “Natura 2000” classification, is renowned for its wealth of flora and fauna. In 1990, it received the “Man and Biosphere” label from UNESCO for the conservation efforts undertaken here.

The summit can be reached by a 21.5 km bike ride from Bédoin. Three hiking paths can also be used: GR4, GR9 and GR91.

You can discover typical villages like Bédoin (and its Chapel of La Madeleine), Crillon-le-Brave (and its wine-growing region), Fassan (its 13th century church, fountains and wash-houses), Buis-les-Baronnies (on the right bank of the Ouvèze, with its ancient Dominican monastery and Renaissance doorway), and sites classed among the most beautiful on the list of climbing regions in France.

Locally produced food to sample

The AOC “Mont Ventoux” vineyards are spread over the southern slope of Mont Ventoux, in the Comtat Venaissin (opportunity to visit wine-producing cellars and enjoy tasting sessions). Gigondas and its vineyards, dominated by the Dentelles de Montmirail, are also well worth a visit.
