Lunch with a view: "La Terrasse" at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann
On the 8th floor of the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, La Terrasse invites guests to take a "gourmet break" in the open air with an original menu by Japanese chef Fumiko Kono and renowned pastry chef Pierre Hermé. Tucked away on the roof of the grand magasin, the restaurant, designed by Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku, offers a panoramic view of the rooftops and monuments of Paris.
La Terrasse: a haven of peace in the middle of Paris
Open from May until the beginning of autumn, the restaurant La Terrasse has 60 seats available for lunch Monday through Saturday from noon until 6 p.m.
The Design Concept
Designed by Patrick Jouin et Sanjit Manku, the ambiance is contemporary, casual yet elegant, pleasant and calm, with a white canvas covering and a dark parquet floor. Diners have the choice of sitting at a long communal table or at intimate tables for two.
